Welcome to the Kimberley Kampsite Initiative
The Initiative is to provide a kampsite for Kimberley Kamper Owners and their guests to visit so that they:
- can meet other owners and guests for fellowship and information sharing
- can join the Flying Doctor Service Outback Travellers Club and make a donation to the Flying Doctor.
This is a charity initiative to increase the membership of the RFDS travellers club and raise money for the flying doctor who provide an invaluable service for travellers in an emergency.
Like most charity initiaives, attendees and participants have a heart of gold and enjoy each others company.
Visitors will in turn will receive:
- a membership kit from the Flying Doctor Service including emergecy contact information.
- an 87 page document published by the Flying Doctor and printed courtesy of Kimberley Kampers titled"Seriously Injured Patients" with advice on what to do in an emergency. This information is rarely available in first aid kits.
- introduction to other kampsite visitors for fellowship and networking
- entertained by guest speakers and presenters on outback topics
- a Saturday Night Dinner around the kampfire
Kimberley Kampers is contributing to the costs of establishing and hosting the Kampsite so that all money donated and raised goes directly to the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
- The next event is not scheduled as of yet.
